Pour utiliser Xinorbis en version portable, téléchargez le fichier ZIP sur le site officiel. Une fois extrait dans le répertoire et sur le support de votre choix, Renommez le fichier _custom.ini en custom.ini ouvrez le avec un éditeur de texte et modifiez la ligne portablemode=0 en portablemode=1. Sauvegardez la modification. Double cliquez sur x4.exe pour lancer le programme. Les préférences seront sauvegardées directement dans le fichier custom.ini
