Pour utiliser Network Password Recovery en version portable, téléchargez le fichier ZIP sur le site officiel. Une fois extrait dans le répertoire et sur le support de votre choix, double cliquez sur netpass.exe pour lancer le programme.

Pour portabiliser POPPeeper, téléchargez le fichier d’installation sur le site officiel, puis ouvrez  Universal Extractor et sélectionnez ce fichier. Une fois extrait, rendez vous dans le répertoire d’extraction, supprimez le sous répertoire $PLUGINSDIR  et le fichier puis transférez le répertoire d’extraction sur votre clé USB.

Un assistant de configuration démarre lorsque vous lancez le programme pour la première fois. Assurez-vous de sélectionner "Enregistrer les données pour assurer la portabilité"  (en anglais :"Store data for portability") lorsque l’on vous demandera où stocker la configuration du logiciel.
